#MarchMeetTheMaker.

For anyone that doesn't know, I am a huge fan of Instagram. It's a great place to share little snapshots of my day-to-day with you, and an interesting way to follow along with what others are up to. I also love to get involved with different hashtag challenges. Incase you don't know, by tagging a picture with a relevant hashtag on Instagram, you can join in with different communities on Instagram, people can follow the particular hashtag, and discover you and other people taking part.

In March, it's time for one of my favourite Instagram campaigns to take part in – Joanne Hawker's #MarchMeetTheMaker. The aim for #MMTM, is especially for creative businesses and makers to share a little more about themselves and their story, using the prompts in this list as their inspiration. This year was the third year of Joanne promoting this initiative, and I am pleased to say that I managed to keep up and post every single day throughout the month (woohoo!). I'm pretty chuffed with myself, so I thought I'd share a few of my fave pics, which I posted on Instagram...

It’s been really lovely to have a reason to show a little more of my behind the scenes, to reflect a true representation of my brand and my personality. I have loved having a little nosy at lots of other's creative worlds too! It’s always exciting discovering like-minded illustrators, artisans and creators, so here are a few of my favourite accounts I have come across during the challenge...

Stunning, handmade rubber stamps and printed bags, pouches, pins and postcards.

Lovely quirky & colourful hand-embroidered pieced for the home.

Beautiful art prints, greetings cards and stationery, using wonderful typography and hand-lettering.

If I'm honest, I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do now it's over! I will always love Instagram though, and I post a picture (or two or three) most days – so if you want to find out a little more about me and my work, pop on over and follow me here

I hope you've all had a wonderful long easter weekend.
