Greet your guests in style with a wedding sign that’s guaranteed to make an impression.
Make the ultimate first impression as your friends and family arrive by placing a welcome sign on display at your wedding. Day-of stationery and entrance boards set the tone of your reception and get your guests excited for the celebrations to come. Also, a wedding sign doubles as a sentimental keepsake and piece of artwork to hang on your walls at home.
I have collated some of my favourite “welcome to our wedding” signs to give you inspiration for your big day. Signs can be displayed as framed prints, on art easels or clipped to sandwich boards to grab your guests’ attention.
Consider including illustrated elements such as your wedding venue, yourselves or items that are personal to you as a couple, as well as your names and wedding date. Ultimately, it’s up to you to choose the design you’d like for your entrance sign, but I recommend including fonts, colours and imagery that coordinate with the rest of your decor. This will create a coordinated wedding aesthetic.

Lakeside wedding welcome sign
The Deanes included the unique wedding island, waterside location at Ardencote in Warwickshire.
2. Wedding barn welcome sign
Mr and Mrs O’Flanagan married at the purpose-built ceremony room at The Manor Barn in Cambridgeshire. They included elements from their wedding decor in the design, such as white roses, lanterns, trailing ivy and confetti.
3. “Welcome to the wedding of” board
Samuel and Natasha took centre stage for their entrance board, letting the bride’s ornate, two-piece wedding dress to be the main focus of the artwork.

5. Vegas wedding welcome board
Chris and Kelly put all their chips on the table and embraced their casino-themed wedding with a take on the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas road sign. I drew the couple and their little flower girl in the artwork too.

Tracy and Tim held their wedding reception in the grounds of Braxted Park in the wedding marquee there. They introduced the upcoming party with colourful balloons and silhouettes of guests dancing the night away.

Rebecca and Matthew’s wedding celebrations went into the nighttime, so they chose to highlight their dreamy wedding venue with festoon lighting and a starry night sky.

Carrie and Gary combined their favourite things in the entrance poster. Their favourite cherry tree, candle-lit globe decorations, wedding reception location and favourite day-to-day outfits
