I know it's fairly early to mention the dreaded 'C-word', but Christmas (there... I said it!) will be here before we know it. With this in mind, it's time to start thinking about the gifts you want to give to your nearest and dearest. It can be hard to think of truly original presents, which are going to really mean something to their recipient. I think my illustrated portraits are a lovely Christmas gift idea - they're completely bespoke, so you can bet that the receiver won't have ever been given anything like it before. They can be wholly personalised to include anything you like, so if there's something that's really special to the person you're giving it to, tell me about it and I will incorporate it into your illustration. What's more, they don't need to cost too much, so most budgets can be catered for.
Here are some of my favourite ideas for bespoke portraits...
Child Portraits – Mark a special moment in time with an illustration of your son or daughter. Or perhaps picture your child with their best friend, their pet or their siblings. It can be hard to get all your little ones (and their animals) paying attention at the same time, so a drawing may be the answer!
Pet Portraits - Don't leave your furry friends out of all the fun, and commission a special pet portrait. I draw all animals...cats, dogs, guinea-pigs or even pet elephants...I like a challenge!
Think about how you'd like your commission displayed in your home. Would you like a giclée art print or a quirky framed fabric print? All portraits can be printed onto fabric and framed between acrylic. This way of presenting your illustration, makes a lovely, complete gift, ready to display in the recipient's home. (You will receive a £5 voucher to spend online at House of Henry when you choose this printing option for your Hannah Weeks Illustration).
Couple Portraits - Perfect for capturing special moments in a truly unique way. Whether there is an important anniversary coming up, you've just bought your first home together, or you have a baby on the way and you'd like a keepsake to mark this milestone. All memories can be commemorated with a beautiful, illustrated portrait.
