Myself and my glamorous assistant, and OH Tom (who's day job sees him dealing with beers not weddings) are finally coming back down to earth following exhibiting at The National Wedding Show, at The NEC, Birmingham on the 2nd - 4th October.

We spent a gloriously busy, wonderfully hectic, three days talking to the fantastic visitors to come through the doors. We met some lovely couples, mothers and daughters and delightfully, excitable groups of friends, all of whom were complimentary about my illustrations. I left at the end of the weekend feeling truly humbled and touched to have received such glowing feedback from all we chatted with. Not to mention, ready to creatre some beautifully unique illustrations for the newest batch of soon-to-be Mr and Mrs!

That's us – Tom and Hannah. We make a good team don't you think!

A firm favourite amongst visitors to our stand was definitely Rick and Rebecca's Tree Illustration. They commissioned this illustration of the Oak Tree in their garden complete with the two of them (and their resident Robin) for their guests to sign at their wedding, as an alternative to a traditional guestbook. They are actually getting married at the end of this month! I hope they have the most amazing day and I would love to see some photographs of their guests adding their names to their drawing :)

The National Wedding Show was, as it was last year, an ideal platform and opportunity for me meet Bride and Groom-to-bes and to introduce what I do to people attending the exhibition. I was thrilled with the buzz at the show and all the interest in my illustrations - so thank you to everyone that we chatted with.

In my element – chatting away to newly engaged members of the public!

Thanks to everyone who showed an interest in my illustrations and came to visit my stand. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you all and discussing your illustrations together with you. I hope we can work together in the future, to design something that represents you and is as individual as you are.
